ROCK - Industrial/Goth
Chicago

Chicago based Lokk Boxx fuses an electro-rock, industrial sound with dark trip-hop undertones. Founding members Hawk Dobbins and Victoria Skeller released their first EP "Queen of Hearts" in November 2014, with additional material extending to later plans for a full length album. With multi-instrumentalist Hawk composing and singer/songwriter Victoria heading up vocals, the two created a unique style of cool, playful and dark music. Lokk Boxx draws influence from a range of genres and artists including trip-hop outfits such as Sneaker Pimps, Portishead, and Goldfrapp; to more electronic/industrial rock based acts in the likes of IAMX, The Birthday Massacre, Awolnation, and Nine Inch Nails. In the summer of 2014 the band rounded out their ensemble with rhythm machine Max Shreffler taking a seat at the drums, and Brandon Kopesky on the bass. Now a four piece threat, Lokk Boxx looks to carve it's place out in the diverse and thriving music scene in Chicago and beyond.
