F For Effort, formerly Start Up 45, is a punk rock band founded by brothers Dexter and Dustin Kube. While performing under the Start Up 45 name, they released 3 albums; Public Indecency (2007), Minute Man (2008), and Collision Course (2010). If the Kube brothers were not recording with Nick Rad of 'Hangnail' & 'Acceptance', they were taking 1st at a battle of the bands competition or performing at Milwaukee's Summerfest on the Harley Davidson stage.
After some down time and family building, Dexter and Dustin are back. Not only do they have a new name but two new members. Those members include bassist Pete Lovas and drummer Derek "Too Much Muscle" Guse.
F For Effort will be hitting the stages hard in 2015. They will be competing in a battle on the bands at the Milwaukee Miramar Theatre on Feb 25. On Mar 21 they will be seen with New Found Glory at the Rave, also in Milwaukee.
More shows are in the works, see you there!
