ROCK - Hard Rock/Metal
Maple Grove, MN
Caster Volor (Kas-Tur - Vul-Or) are an original and cover hard rock n' roll band from Minnesota that was founded by leading members and brothers Caster Volor (Lead Vocals, Lyrics, Bass) and Steven Volor (Lead Guitar, Vocals). The two brothers simply wanted to go out and play some real rock n' roll, the way it used to be and is supposed to be played: hard, loud, and in your face. When the bands cared about the way they looked, when the guitar players played solos and wore their guitars low, when the singers could shatter a microphone with sheer power, and the drummers would destroy their massive kits. When the bands cared about the "show" part of the show business and believed what rock n' roll stands for.
At a Caster Volor show you will hear rock n' roll that is hard rockin' like Gun's N' Roses, Loud like Motorhead, and in your face like W.A.S.P. Nevertheless, an abundance of different influences compacted into one Caster Volor sound like Caster Volor. With athletic jumps, spins, leather and studs to sitting on-top of the vocalists shoulders and playing a guitar solo, you don't see this glam, punk rock combination anywhere else. In their short time together they have already had the opportunities to play some the biggest and best stages around their hometown of Minnesota and have gotten a little taste of Wisconsin including: The Cabooze, POVS 65, Gb Leighton's Pickle Park, Hipps Pub, and have opened for international touring acts "One - A Tribute To Metallica" and glam rockers "The Prophets of Addiction."
On August 15th 2015, Caster Volor had released their very first single, "The Inmates (Are Running The Asylum)" and are in the process of recording their first E.P.
