Starting back in 1999, practicing pop punk covers in the basement of twin brothers Scott & Shawn Brooks, Same In The End has evolved into an indie pop rock experience, which they’ve dubbed pop core. Original members Brooks brothers and Mike Olson (drums) have recently added Mitch Chambasian (guitar/vocals) and Nick Gruszynski (lead vocals) making Same In The End the strongest it’s ever been. The band currently has one EP recorded – titled Better Days Ahead – and is working on new material. (Better Days Ahead was recorded with former lead singer Nick Medek.) With a new vocalist and a clear vision of where they want to go with their music, Same In The End stands at the forefront of the basement punk scene in the Fox Valley – using their basement as their personal venue.
