ROCK - PopRock/Mainstream
Catchpenny has found their way into headlining spots in major markets such as Chicago, LA, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and even Cabo San Lucas, playing among a variety of major recording artists. Along the way, they've picked up management, an exclusive booking agency, and recorded an album with some of the biggest names in music. Their first full length release, “Chance For A Lifetime,” was produced by Michael Bland (Prince, Soul Asylum), and co-produced and engineered by Brian Johnson. Other names lending a hand include John Fields (Switchfoot, Mandy Moore, Evan and Jaron), and Tommy Barbarella (Prince) among others. From sound-track ready "If I Fall" and "Raining" to pop rock tune "Leave the Light On" to "Covered Up" a piano based ballad, Chance For A Lifetime has struck a chord with people across a variety of demographics. The title "Chance for a Lifetime" is the title track, a song written for CureDuchenne.org, a non-profit based out of LA that Catchpenny has aligned themselves with.
